We do not focus on a specific category of photography. Our selection process allows us to pick candidates from every field of photography. Past winners have specialized in or offered portrait photography, wedding photography, maternity photography, and more.
We look at five main categories and analyze each photographer using 25 different variables. Our selection process is thorough and time-consuming, but it ensures that we only reward the best that the nation has to offer.
